Miki Murray

Miki (Mabelle) Murray taught mostly middle school mathematics for 25 years, then facilitated mathematics professional development for another 10. In 1997 she returned to the classroom at the Center for Teaching and Learning in Edgecomb, Maine, where she found the ideal environment for implementing her beliefs about how children effectively learn mathematics. Currently she consults from her home, conducts workshops, runs a successful MATHCOUNTS Club, and mentors teachers who are changing practice in order to improve student learning.
